Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
 

  • Work with our team to provide clients with high quality, force-free free, and fear-free training.

  • +18 years of age with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

  • Reliable mobile device and fluent with computer skills.

  • Effective time management skills. 

  • Desire to learn new skills.

  • Good written communication skills.

  • Comfortable with public speaking.

  • Our team members must follow ethical guidelines, including LIMA Compliance. Using e-collars, prong collars, or “balanced” approaches in a training plan is not an acceptable standard of care for our clients.

     

Experience Required:
​​

  • Professional Dog Trainer​ Positions:

    • 1-2 years experience working with clients in private and group settings. ​

    • Preference is given to candidates holding certification through Karen Pryor Academy, Certification of Professional Dog Trainers, or other reputable organization that teaches the principles of ethical, humane, positive reinforcement training.

      • Will consider equivalent education in psychology, animal behavior, or a related field​...

  • Dog Trainer Apprentice & Assistant Positions:

    • Familiar with learning theory and basic psychology understanding.  ​

    • Regular access to a dog comfortable with other dogs and in new situations.
